In the case of Tiger Woods, this epithet does not apply. After winning the US Open's full 18 -hole round Monday, then sudden death to win, then releasing that he's had a torn ACL since the Memorial might be a story. The PGA tour's spit-take could be heard from Mars.

...Said Spike Lee's character in the legendary TV commercial. Now Stephon Marbury albeit after a woeful season with doubly-woeful Knicks has released shoes that were designed by the same "Money" designers but retails $14.98.
Marbury entered my consciousness in the book by Darcy Frey, "The Last Shot", in which Marbury arrives at the Coney Island court to dominate and dunk, and he arrived on a Big Wheel.
So where have been (my beloved) MJ and (my more beloved) Magic? I recall black and white news footage of sixties-era Jim Brown, Kareem, Bill Russell, and Muhammed Ali holding a press conference in solidarity of the Civil Rights Movement.
It's unfair to compare the latter list to former in this case, but I remember the stories of kids getting beaten (or worse) for their MJ shoes.
